A 40% firebrick split is a thin, heat-resistant brick made with approximately 40% alumina content, designed for use in high-temperature environments ranging between 1300°C and 1600°C. Unlike standard firebricks, splits are only 25mm thick, making them ideal for tight spaces, surface linings, and patchwork in refractory structures. Each split weighs less and is easy to install while still providing excellent thermal insulation and strength.
